| Physical and Chemical Properties | Purple Sauce color powder. Very soluble in water, solubility in water (100 C) for 200g/L. The aqueous solution is cherry red, and has no tendency of aggregation at room temperature. The addition of concentrated hydrochloric acid produces purple sauce color precipitation; The addition of concentrated sodium hydroxide solution is wine red. Slightly soluble in ethanol was purplish red. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it is dark blue red, after dilution, it is dark red to reddish purple; In concentrated nitric acid, it is initially olive color, and quickly turns into Brown; In concentrated hydrochloric acid, it is reddish purple precipitate, which can be dissolved by adding water dilution. |
